2011:

Understanding life and the brain: The approach is to build brain by modeling in order to understand brain --> analysis by synthesis principle i.e. to try complementary approaches targeting different levels of systems organization with their hypothesis (computational neuroscience, cognitive systems, evolutionary and developmental approach) --> to simplify the problem (brain) on different levels of simplification for the different approaches (principle of horizontal simplification, ignoring something of everything rather than ignoring everything of something; brain processing organization: evolution and development, computational systems, sensory representations, embodied brain-like intelligence) --> to consider the system (brain) as an entity in full interaction with its respective environment --> identify the control architecture.

2010-2011:

In Cognitive science: Teleoperating --> work on the issue of computer-assisted master-slave command control teleoperator system force feedback to act mechanically and remotely through sensory feedback --> virtual mode (interactive simulation) --> Coupling type: virtual mechanisms (“position/force” hybrid control i.e. Cartesian space into 2 separate degrees of freedom).

Research did in 2010 then submitted to Japse Embassy under MEXT scholarship program/app.:

Distributed AI (DAI, subfield of AI research): Implementation and enforcement in the conduct of production systems (engineering systems design) --> looking closer at how is made distributed simulation study of the aspects of human intelligence by an embedded system on distributed problem solving through this DAI research field: Multi-agent system MAS.

The transition from Object to intelligent Agent characterized by the addition of the decision-making of entities feature and interAgent communication process.
Hypothesis: - an intelligent software agent called autonomous, is it intelligent once demonstrates a capacity to mimic human behavior (in line with the Turing Test)?
- Issues raised in the design of MAS i.e. specifying an agent oriented architecture and interactions between them.

App.: multiexpert systems --> knowledge-based systems extension of representing agents.

Research did in 2009 then submitted to Japse Embassy under MEXT scholarship program/app.:

Information research systems --> Reformulation of request (by Injection of relevance) and training based on genetic algorithms GAs for application on non-manufacturing/mobile robots --> to exploit GAs ability to solve problems of adaptation in order to endow robot system with fundamental property of learning --> to treat about the contributions of genetic algorithm to design information research systems adapted for intelligent robot needs --> an Opened Robot interface for the Network ORiN needs.

In Software Technology:

- OS: Montavista Linux 3.0; “former” Wind River Open RTLinux on Atom processor; VxWorks; µTRON4.0 Real-Time Kernel-1.4.4 TOPPERS/JSP on x86-compatible Zilog 16-bit processing eZ80 and 32-bit processing Z380 µcontrollers --> ITRON adopted rather than RTLinux for its lowest footprint (measured only in Kb) and superior real-time performance (switching tasks in µseconds). --> T-Kernel standard/32-bit µcontroller technology and nT-Engine/T-Linux are under familiarization.
