PROJECT DETAILS:

       

         Title       :  “MONITOING AND CONTROLLING OF SUBSTATION USING GSM”.

           Purpose :  Monitor the voltage, current, temperature from the power transformers.

 

         Description:

                            In our project entitled with “MONITORING AND CONTROLLING OF SUBSTATION USING GSM COMMUNICATION”, we planned to monitor and control the whole substation in a proto type model. The aim is to monitor the voltage, current, temperature from the power transformers. The above said parameters are being monitored and that data is transmitted to the control room thro GSM modem as a SMS at a pre determined intervals from the transformer yard. The controlling action can be done by sending SMS from the GSM modem, which is in the control room to the GSM modem that is in the transformer yard.
