1.       I have passed G.C.E - O/L exam – Sri Lanka.

Distinction - 1            Credits - 6          Simple pass – 1

2.       Have been face to exam of G.C.E- A/L (by maths subjects)  - Sri Lanka.

3.       Successfully completed one year full time Air condition and Refrigeration course at Sri Lanka.

4.       Face to exam of City and Guilds of London Institute by the Air condition & refrigeration level –one subject has been passed.

1.       Successfully completed one year full time Air condition and Refrigeration training course at National Youth Center  Maharagama  Sri Lanka.

2.       Successfully completed (four) safety training courses at Colombo International Nautical and Engineering College (CINEC) Sri Lanka - One month.

First aid / Fire fighting / survival at sea / Personal safety & responsibility.

Skills

1.       Electrical work of machinery Installation, Fault finding, Repair, Service and Maintenance such as Air compressor / Air condition plants (central) /Steam boiler / Incinerator / Laundry machines /Kitchen appliances / Motors etc.

Work Experience

1.       I had employ as an Air condition and refrigeration technician at SHIN NIPPON AIR CONDITION ENGINEERING CO LTD, ja-ela , Sri lanka, from January of 1989 to July 1990 (one and half years). Also during that period I have done lot of electrical and plumbing work, such as installation, repair, service and maintenance works.

2.       I had joined Bentota Beach Hotel Sri-Lanka as an electrician on July of 1990 and worked until February of 1992.(one and half years)

During that period I have done - watch keeping as a plant operator. (Water pumps, A/C and cool rooms, stand/by generator, boiler for hot water, lighting etc).

Electrical wiring, change plugs switches etc, with new spares.

Repairer and maintenance work such as, water pumps, kitchen machineries, electrical motors, air condition plants and cold rooms,

3.       From 1995 until now I am working as an electrician with merchant ships such as general cargo, bulk carrier and container vessels. (14 Years)

During this period I have done –

 Repairer and maintenance of electrical work such as, Cargo cranes, electrical winches, all engine room machineries (air compressors, oil purifier, diesel generators, electrical motors, etc) , steam boilers, Incinerators.

Also laundry machines, galley oven and hot plats etc.

Ships lighting and wiring works, accommodation air condition plant and provision cold rooms.

Repairing of reefer container (only container ships).

Computer Skills

1.       I have good computer Opertting knowledge for work with M/S office.

2.       Software installation and general fault finding and repairing.

Languages

1.       I have good general English knowledge, according to I.E.L.T.S exam.

          Listening-6.0 / Reading-5.0 / Writing-6.0 / Speaking-5.0.

2.       Generally speaking and listening Indonesian language.  

3.       My native language is Singhalese.
