Then work as internee in utility Stores Corporation of Pakistan Private limited, Work as  an Accountant Assistant in Pakistan Cables on contract basis for one year.  One year work with Baigsons International as an Accountant. Currently, Working in IESCO Pvt Limited as an “Account officer” from August 2002. .  

Job Description/Roles & Responsibilities 
Accounting
·        Maintaining Ledger, cashbook, Sales, Purchase, Stock , Petty cash and other financial statements. Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports.
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
  • Recording and verification of supplier, contractor and other invoices. Follow up payments from debtors to ensure collection within credit terms. Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
Auditing and procurement
  • Responsibility for carrying out pre-audit assignment of almost all the payments made on behalf of IESCO as well as preparation of Payroll of IESCO staff.
  • Pre-audit and vetting of all claims processed by lower formation like vetting of purchase orders for procurement of material etc.
  • The responsibility to make replies of the Inspection reports carried out by internal Audit Department.
  • Coordination with statutory auditors in respect of annual audit.
  • Dealing with Customer, Suppliers, commercial banks, cargo companies and auditors.
  • Keeping track of off balance sheet items like contingencies, taxation,, LCs/ Guarantees.
  • Member of Purchase, Auction,  tender opening and negotiating  Committee. 

 

Budgeting
  • The responsibility to supervise the budget estimates in respect of expenditures for current budget year, and budget required for next financial year
  • Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control.
  • Analyzing, reviewing, finalizing, and compiling the budget inputs from the field offices. prepare strategic plans, budgets and financial forecasts; work out funds requirements & allocation.
Admn and Payroll
·        To select, train, direct, and mentor the necessary staff to ensure the smooth functioning of the unit in accordance with Company procedures, policies and accounting systems.
·        To manage all Payroll unit functions and daily activities.
·        To manage confidentiality regarding employee personal information.
·        To manage the preparation and compilation of records and reports according to payroll management requirements.
·        To manage the processes that ensure that payments and government reports are disbursed timely and accurately.
·        Handling matters relating to Recruitment, Appointment, Leave, Salary, Allowances, Travel and other administrative matters of Officers and staff.
Taxation
§         Supervision of preparation of annual tax returns/ annual and quarterly statements and its filing.
§         Supervision of GST monthly and annual statements/ returns and its  filing.
§         Preparation of  Employees annual tax returns statements for onward submission to FBR.
