o Description: The main aim of project is to make special purpose machine performing certain repetitive functions to work automatically by interfacing electronic components .We have considered a wheel manufacturing industry which have repetitive functions like loading of material into furnace, heating of materials in furnace ,pouring of melted material into the wheel mould by tilting arrangement, moving the wheel mould with the help of conveyor belt into the cooling system to get final finished product. So all functions allowed in sequential manner with each operation taking precise amount of time. By interfacing these machinery to the microcontroller in which programs are embedded which makes it possible to make the entire special purpose machine automatically in synchronized manner decided by the program. Automating an industry through electronic systems in conjunction with machines is cheaper and provides accuracy to the system. |
